About
Hi, my name is Kevin. I am a photographer based in Hong Kong.
Growing up, I always enjoyed taking pictures during holidays or while out with friends. Perhaps subconsciously, I adopted a more documentary approach, preferring to capture candid moments rather than posed ones. Naturally, I gravitated towards street photography which offers endless such opportunities and is still what I look forward to most when travelling.
Beginning in 2021, I started shooting with local NGOs on a voluntary basis. The more time I’ve spent with photography, the more I’ve found myself drawn to projects that are inspiring and purposeful. Knowing my work has helped organisations to communicate their message, drive positive change, and build lasting empathy has been very rewarding.
In more recent years, I experimented with weddings, something I never thought I would do. In the immediate future, I wish to delve deeper into portraiture, particularly that of my closest friends and family. A unique challenge for me, to be sure, but has the potential to be my most intimate, meaningful and personal work.
